Interest Capitalization Policy

T.H.E. has one of the most favorable interest capitalization policies in the industry! This can potentially save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

T.H.E. allows you to exhaust all in-school, grace, and any continuously applied for deferments or forbearance before capitalizing the accrued interest.

The T.H.E. Law Program will only capitalize interest on your loans when your loans enter repayment status. When you complete your schooling and move into your grace period status, your interest is not capitalized. If you move directly from your grace period into a deferment or forbearance status, your interest is not capitalized. Not until your loan enters repayment status will your accrued interest capitalize.
